Log Cabin Floors

When it comes to the design and building of your log cabin the floor and floor bearers are very important, it is best to avoid purchasing a cabin with a chipboard floor which are flimsy and can be damaged easy. When it comes to cabins the preferably choice is a strong tongue and groove board floor with floor bearers that are substantial enough to withstand the weight of the cabin, this is a must if you are going to use it as a gym or workroom where heavy equipment and tools will be used. A good quality log cabin has had a pressure treated sub-frame which the log cabin is constructed onto, with the sub-frame thick enough and strong enough to take the weight of not only the building but any equipment you are planning to use in it.
