Treating your Cabins.

When it comes to treating the timber or log of your log cabins after they have been erected is by using a top quality wood preservative because it will protect the wood against any mildew and rot damage. The ideal preservative available on today’s market for your log cabins is a natural oil based wood preservative which you can get for interior and exterior wood. This preservative contains natural oils which in turn will help protect it against any insects and it is also environmentally friendly. When you use a water or spirit based preservative to treat your cabin or garden building you will have to re-treat it every 2 years to keep it in good condition, unlike an oil based preservative that will only need to be treated every 4 or 5 years. A selection of colors is available but just make sure when you are choosing a colored wood preservative that it will not only color but also protect you wood.
